Coronavirus arrangements

During the current situation we are holding a reduced Junior Church programme with no crèche on Sunday mornings.

Junior Church

Our whole church family normally meets together for the first part of our service (approximately 20 minutes), after which the children leave for their own sessions which are organised by age group. We use modern Christian teaching material from a variety of sources and have games and fun as well. Parents and carers are very welcome to stay with their children and join in with the activities.

The crèche

We have a crèche with lots of toys where young children aged 0-4 are cared for during our Sunday morning service by a team of volunteers from the congregation. Contact Katharyne Crosse.

Children aged 4 to 8 years meet together for Lightzone. This is a really fun group which incorporates lots of craft activities, Bible stories and games. Contact Rosemairi Evison.

Our 9-13 year olds form the Lasers group who meet to play games with a message, and to talk afterwards about how the message is relevant to us in our daily lives. Contact Steffi Campbell Smith.

Our 14-18 year olds - the Connexions - have a lot of fun together as we look at the Bible and learn what it says to us and to know Jesus as our personal Saviour. We look at what Jesus’s death and resurrection means for each of us and we search for ways to learn more about God and how we can deepen our relationship with him. Contact Katharyne Crosse.

All-age services

Once a month, normally on the third Sunday resuming in September 2021 - but check the calendar - we have an all-age service as our Sunday morning worship. This is run by a dedicated team and includes music, drama, video clips, activities and a talk exploring a Bible story. We aim these services at all those aged between 0-100!

Jumping Jacks

Jumping Jacks meets at 9:30-11am on Fridays during school terms for fun and games in the Aitken Hall. It’s for 0-4 year-olds and their parents or carers and costs £2 per family. At present masks must be worn by all adults throughout the meeting, unless exempt. Contact Rosemairi Evison for more information.

Baby Jacks

Baby Jacks is a friendly group for mums and carers and their pre-walking babies. It’s a great way to meet other new parents, swap tips and find that you are not the only person who hasn’t slept for months. It meets every Monday afternoon during term time from 1:15pm to 2:30pm, cost £1 per family. No booking, just turn up! More info from Katharyne Crosse or the Church Office, 020 8642 5000.
