EA: Andy Murray and more

Resources, reflections and events from the Evangelical Alliance

Headlines

Welcome to this week’s Headlines

During another uncertain week in our national politics, our advocacy team’s Danny Webster, reminds us that even as we have different views, we are to be people of hope.

In other news, Andy Murray played his last game at the Australian Open ahead of his retirement this year. Phil Knox, our head of mission to young adults, says we can all learn some lessons from this sporting great.

Additionally, on Thursday, 16 May, we’ll hold our second annual conference, Above and Beyond, on running churches and charities excellently for the glory of God. Evangelical Alliance members have exclusive early access to tickets, so don’t forget snap yours up!

We’ve also been enjoying reading parts of Simply Eat this week - check out this article from our new book, which reveals how one church used home baking to share the good news of Jesus.

Finally, prayer continues to be the firm foundation upon which we build our lives - now as much as ever! Join us as we pray for Brexit.
