EA: Love politicians and eat

Reflections, resources and events from the Evangelical Alliance

Welcome to this week’s Headlines

Well the Christmas holidays are definitely over and 2019 is up and running!

Our politicians have had another challenging week in Westminster and many of us are seeking to get better at praying for them. John Coleby, our public policy researcher, has laid out some ways that we can support our elected leaders in prayer while Nicola Martin, from our Scotland office, reflects on how we can better encourage and care for our local representatives.

Separately, we’re really excited that our new book, Simply Eat, is flying out of the door. A beautiful coffee table book, Simply Eat reminds us of all that God can do when we share food and faith together. Find out more and order your copy.

There’s still time to book your ticket to Deep Impact, a conference for youth and family workers in Aviemore, taking place next weekend. Get your ticket today!

Finally, we do encourage you to pray for our political leaders and the challenges they face. Each week we’ll be publishing a new prayer; read the first one here.
