The chapel and garden

We all need moments of quiet. Sometimes we just want to pause, to be open to more than the pressures of daily life or to get out of ourselves, even just for a short time.

St Andrew’s Chapel is open on weekdays for at least half of the day and often for longer. Everyone is welcome, for meditation, prayer or just some quiet time. The entrance is through the glass doors at the end of the path from the archway on the corner of Northey Avenue and The Avenue.

There are resources inside for use if you wish, which will change from time to time.

If you have a concern that you would like to talk over with someone in confidence, please contact our Pastoral Coordinator, Jenni Dickinson, pastoral|by email or by calling the office on 020 8642 5000 and asking Jenni to call you.

Our prayer group meets in the chapel every Wednesday at 9:30am. Please feel welcome to join us, or if you have a concern for which you would like prayer, please let us know using this page or by leaving a message in the prayer box in the chapel.

You are also welcome at any time to visit the garden, sit on the benches, and enjoy the plants and the mosaic.
